Contributing Writers

CLICKON is currently seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our editorial writing staff for CLICKON’s sports, soccer, golf, motorsports and eSports platforms.

Candidates must have a passionate and comprehensive understanding of the sports, and be able to entertain and engage said sports fans through awesome, insightful content.

These roles report to the UK London office and will support the editorial objectives and strategy of the in-house editorial teams.

This is an opportunity for brilliant, imaginative and enthusiastic sports writers to capitalise on emerging trends and join a fast growing millennial publishing network with the chance of becoming a part of the full-time team.

Contributors will be paid be £10 per successfully published article.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute content pieces to the day-to-day voice of CLICKON with content reflecting the overall CLICKON brand and tone of voice.
  • Write short and long-form copy in the defined voice and tone of the brand on currently trending topics.
  • Content must be well written, opinionated, carry tone of voice of the brand and be contextually relevant to social conversations.

Skills required:

  • Experience editing & writing premium quality content
  • Proficient understanding of social platforms & how news is consumed within these channels.
  • Strong visual eye with regard to the creation of graphics and selection + crediting of images for social publishing
  • Creative and strategic in nature with the ability to think outside the box and articulate “big ideas”
  • Ability to meet deadlines & be flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional verbal, written presentation and communication skills
  • Above all, candidates must have a passion and interest in the sport platform they are contributing to.

Office & Studios Administrator

CLICKON Media are looking for a young, switched on graduate to join their dynamic team as Office & Studios Administrator. The chosen candidate must be highly organised, process driven and have a keen interest and passion for the Media Industry. Said candidate must be well versed in all Microsoft office and google programmes and have strong communication skills.

Role Title: Office & Studios Administrator
Role Salary: 20 - 23k

The role's main duty is to ensure the smooth running of the office and will include, but isn’t limited to the below responsibilities:

  • Screening all calls for office
  • Management of online and paper filing systems
  • Develop and implement new administrative systems where needed
  • Recording of office expenditure and manage the office monthly budget
  • Organise the office layout and maintain supplies of stationery and equipment, drinks and food
  • Maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs
  • Organise and oversee cleaner/maintenance to office
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding process for recruitment of staff
  • Review and update health and safety policies and ensure they're observed
  • Check that data protection laws are being adhered to in relation to the storage of data, and review and update policies
  • Arrange regular testing for electrical equipment and safety devices
  • Manage company Instagram account
  • Manage monthly payments of contributing writers
  • Manage contracts for new and existing contributing writers
  • Booking and management of travel for the team (excluding CEO)
  • Managing and overseeing HR duties (recording annual leave/ sick days etc)
  • Help to plan monthly team outings
  • Help to organise any events held at office
  • Welcome any external guests into the office
  • Order any ad hoc merchandise e.g. staff jackets, business cards, notepads
  • Take on any ad hoc tasks that may be requested from senior team
  • Uploading of all team expenses onto Expensify
  • Ensuring communication between Los Angeles and London office is frequent and arranging monthly company wide calls
  • Circulating and setting up conference details both internally and externally
  • Making agendas/notes on team meetings and circulating accordingly
  • Sending, collecting and distributing all post
  • Being able to step in and assist on the occasional shoot as and where needed

Part of this role will involve working very closely with the Studios Team to ensure the smooth running of all projects and will include, but isn’t limited to the below responsibilities:

  • Ensure proposal documents for new studios projects are correctly filled out and sent to Co-founders
  • Keep up to date with New Proposal Spreadsheet
  • Ensure release forms are signed before filming and uploaded onto Google Drive
  • Organise and maintain Google Drive folders for Studios
  • Maintain and update project spreadsheets for London and Los Angeles, regularly use and check Asana to do this
  • Have knowledge on all existing and future original content
  • Regularly update and maintain the Master Content Release Schedule to track all necessary documents and files for each piece of original content.
  • Follow the content calendar and inform editors when pieces of content need release and ensure their paperwork is filled out correctly
  • Track currently released content’s progress and communicate any issues if necessary
  • Update analytical information when release cycle is over for each piece of content, using Google Analytics, JW Analytics and Facebook Business Analytics
  • Update and maintain the Analytics Spreadsheet for sales team
  • Upload new content to YouTube and Vimeo platforms
  • Managing the distribution and release of videos to site and social platforms and tracking performance
  • Following up on all projects that are currently in production (ensuring guidelines are followed to avoid any over spending or missed opportunities)
  • Orchestrate Studio weekly meetings
